I realized I needed one of these "vain tools" for taking selfies with my husband when we travel because we realize we almost always hate the pictures other people take for us because it doesn't capture the background we want...or simply, they are horrible photographers.

Once folded, the monopod is a small compact item you can throw in your backpack or suitcase. It is just a little larger than my hand and is very lightweight.
Just one button, simple! Because no one really wants to spend 15 minutes reading manuals trying to figure out how to use a stick...
The phone holder is spring loaded. You have to pry it open while simultaneously stuffing your phone into the holder. It has a deathlock grip on your phone so you really don't need to worry about it falling off. I worry more about the stick breaking in half or someone stealing the whole stick with my phone included than worrying about the phone slipping out of that holder!!
The cons? The one thing that bothered me was how difficult it was to pull the stick open and close. It was not very smooth. It would make this tool immeasurably more easy to use if opening and closing the stick was smooth.

If you are looking for a selfie stick that is great for travel and does the job without too many features that make it difficult to use, this is it! At this price, there is no reason not to try this out! It is a durable, compact, and lightweight selfie stick that you can take all over the world with you without adding too much bulk or weight to your luggage (seriously important!).
