Talika Lash extender

My first entry! This blog is to track all the makeup I try and review them.  My goal is to look presentable in the least amount of time possible.  There are so many beauty blogs out there, and so many products to try.  I want to try them ALL! But, at the end of the day, who really has the time to wear so much stuff everyday? I've got 5-10 minutes to get ready in the morning.  No time for a full application of makeup!  So here is my journey to look the best, with the bare minimum products in the least amount of time.  Oh, and of course, in the most budget friendly way possible.

Staring with...

Talika Lash Extender

Talika lash extender from Nordstrom.  It's made of rayon hair fibers that coat your lashes and they are suppose to give you the false eye lash look.  I hate putting on falsies because I'm such an amateur.  They are usually a bit lopsided.  I thought this could cut down my "night out" looks.  Wrong.  First, you curl your lashes and put on one coat of mascara.  Then you take this nifty wand, coated with little black hairs, and apply it to your lashes.

Then you put another coat of mascara on.  I didn't take a picture of what the "after" looked like because it really wasn't worthy of a photo.  These little black hairs got all over my counter, face, and contact wearing eyes.  The latter was the deal breaker.  Little black hairs in my contact wearing eyes = painful.

Overall?
At $28, this is not a product I would repurchase.
