Sockwell Women's Plantar Ease Crew Socks

Small/Medium in Port.

Sockwell socks are all crafted using state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques in world-class American mills (read: made in the USA!).  By doing so, they are helping preserve jobs, support local economies, and manage their carbon footprint.

The Plantar Ease sock is their recovery sock made of 33% Merino Wool/33% Bamboo Rayon/28% Stretch Nylon/6% Spandex.  The superfine merino wool and bamboo rayon blend is soft and helps control moisture management and thermoregulation.

The sock has spandex throughout the sock prevents slippage and ensures a snappy fit throughout the day. It also features blister resistant seamless toe closure for superior fit and comfort.

Planter Fasciitis is a common cause of heel pain. When the shock absorbing planter fascia is strained it can become damaged and inflamed causing pain and stiffness. The Planter Ease socks work by firmly supporting the Planter Fascia and the Achilles Tendon and applying pressure that encourages blood flow upward to help reduce swelling which ultimately minimizes pain and discomfort.

Features 20-30 MMHG Firm compression which minimizes Planter Fasciitis heel pain.

My only concern is this thing poking out at the seam.

A little undoing here at the rolled seam is concerning.

Care instructions:
MACHINE WASH WARM, TURN SOCKS INSIDE OUT FOR BEST RESULT
DO NOT BLEACH
TUMBLE DRY LOW

Verdict? These are fashionable and cute socks for everyday wear, especially for those on their feet a lot. As a therapist, I am on my feet all day and I wore these around the floor feeling very supported. My only concern as noted above is the seam that is unraveled a bit. I'm unsure how it will hold up after many washings and some wear, but I'll update if anything changes.

Purchase on Amazon, currently $21.99.
