As a therapist, I am on my feet a LOT. My husband and I also travel a lot, too. And my poor feet have to carry my everywhere and frequently feels tired and sore after a long day of work or travel. I started looking into compression socks and found CompressionZ.
These are graduated compression socks (20-30mmHg) that have an even pressure throughout the entire calf. Other socks I've tried are really really tight at the top, but these are amazingly comfortable at the top so it doesn't feel like it is cutting off your circulation. These socks increase blood and fluid circulation so you don't experience swelling during long days on your feel and inactivity during long flights.
Compression socks are also great for active souls. They promote faster muscle recovery by increasing oxygen circulation, thereby reducing lactic acid build up so you don't feel sore the next day.
The socks feature silver yarn anti-bacteria fabric that help regulate body temperature by keeping you warm when it's cold out and cool when it's hot out. They also feature anti-odor and anti-static material that deodorizes and keeps your feet comfortable and dry during long use.
These socks fit nice and snug but don't feel so tight that you can't move around freely. The socks don't go past the knee joint (which if shouldn't). If you have plantar fasciitis, this also helps with pain symptoms and swelling. They have good arch support (as long as you get it in the right size!). I have not experienced any shrinking after putting it through the washing machine and line drying them.
