Scaredy cut silent clipper grooming set is great for pets who are scared of electric clippers and for those who just need a trim on the head. I just use this on my cockapoo's, Ella, head. It gives an even round cut. I use to just grab her fur between 2 fingers and trim away. Depending if I were scissory happy or not that day, sometimes she'd look funny for a few days until it grew out!
The scissors feature a removable gel finger insert, though I don't know why anyone would want to remove them. They are super comfy! I guess if you have large fingers you'd have to remove them. They fit perfectly with my fingers so I did not have to fuss with that. You can also adjust the tension level of the scissors by adjusting the screw in the center of the clippers.
One blade is serrated to better grip fine and slippery fur while the other blade can be easily sharpened as needed.

Here's how to put on a new guide in pictures:
The back of the scissors without a guide
The front of the scissors without a guide
New guide being attached to the scissors
Push the guide flush against the metal
There is the clip you need to push upwards until it clicks and locks onto the scissor
It should look like this when it is snapped on.
The grooming set includes 7 attachment combs so you can cut to any length you want! The 7 combs (#1, #1 1/2, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6) allow trimming from 1/2" to 1".
They have a 30-day, 100%-Satisfaction Guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied with Scaredy Cut, they'll refund your order and replace any parts at your request.
Purchase on Amazon, currently $35.
See my video of how I used this to cut our dog's fur!
Verdict? LOVE these scissors for cutting the fur on her hair! Is it much more even than eyeballing and she looks great after her little cutting session!
